Privacy policy
This policy covers the Versura Solutions website. It is written to be read, not to be survived.
Last updated 15 October 2026
The short version: we collect the minimum needed to answer you or notify you, plus standard website analytics, described below. We do not sell your personal information, and the only service providers that handle it are listed on this page.
Who we are
Versura Solutions Inc. is a private company incorporated in Alberta, Canada. Our mailing address is PO Box 73047, RPO Hampton, Edmonton, Alberta T5T 3X1. We operate this website. If you want to reach a person about anything on this page, email safiyya@versurasolutions.com.
The person responsible for how we handle personal information (our Privacy Officer) is Jacob Caley. You can reach them at jacob@versurasolutions.com.
This website
Like almost every website, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) keeps standard server logs, which typically include IP addresses, browser type, and which pages were requested. These are used to keep the site running and secure, and are not used to build a profile of individual visitors.
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use this site — which pages get read, and roughly how people arrive here. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser and sends Google standard analytics data such as your IP address, browser and device type, and which pages you visited. We do not use it to identify you individually or to advertise to you, and we do not combine it with the contact form or waitlist data described below. You can opt out using a browser extension such as Google's Analytics Opt-out Add-on, or by blocking cookies in your browser. See Google's privacy policy for how Google itself handles this data. Google Analytics is not loaded on the MapleExpat terms, privacy, support and unsubscribe pages.
We also use Cloudflare Web Analytics to measure page views and page performance on our general pages. Cloudflare says it does not use cookies or local storage and does not fingerprint visitors. It is not used on the MapleExpat Terms, Privacy, Support or Unsubscribe pages.
The contact form and the MapleExpat waitlist
If you use the contact form on this site, we collect your name, your organization, which of our areas you're interested in (and, if you choose schools, which service), how you'd like us to reach you, and your message. Organization is required, except when you choose MapleExpat. You choose to be reached by email or by WeChat.
- If you choose email, we collect your email address, and a valid one is required.
- If you choose WeChat, we collect your WeChat QR code image (PNG or JPG, 2 MB or less), your typed WeChat ID, or both. One of the two is required. A QR code image can carry more than an ID, so only send one you are comfortable sharing with us.
We do not collect a phone number. The site never contacts you itself: we reply by the method you chose, from our own email or WeChat account.
If you sign up on the MapleExpat page to be notified when the app launches, we collect your email address.
Both forms send that information as an email, through Resend (our email delivery provider), directly to our own inboxes. Neither form writes to a database, a mailing list tool, or a CRM — the message you send is the record we keep. The email to both founders carries everything you wrote, the contact method you chose, any typed WeChat ID, and your QR code image as an attachment. The image is not stored on the website; it exists only as that attachment. We use it only to reply to you or, for the waitlist, to send you one email when MapleExpat is live. A WeChat ID or QR code image is used only to find your account and reply to you. We do not add you to a marketing list from either form, and we do not use what you send us for any other purpose. You can withdraw your consent to the launch email at any time by replying to it or emailing us.
A honeypot field on both forms (invisible to real visitors) exists only to catch automated spam submissions before they reach an inbox; it does not collect anything from a genuine visitor.
Who else sees this data
We use these service providers to run this site and its forms: Cloudflare, which hosts the site and serves every page; Resend, which delivers the contact-form and waitlist emails to us (and which may use its own delivery partners to get email to us); and Google, which runs the analytics described above and hosts our company email, where the form emails arrive. Resend delivers its mail through its own delivery partner (Amazon's email service), whose route for our mail runs through Tokyo, Japan. Cloudflare and Resend are not permitted to use your information for their own purposes — they process it only to provide their service to us. Google Analytics data is handled under Google's own privacy policy, linked above. These providers may process data outside Canada, including in the United States and, for our form emails, Japan. If you have questions about how these providers handle personal information outside Canada, or want a copy of the commitments they make to us, ask our Privacy Officer. We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone other than these providers.
One further provider touches one piece of information: the unsubscribe page described below sends the token in its link to the MapleExpat service, which runs on Supabase, a database provider whose systems for MapleExpat are hosted in Canada. The website itself does not keep the token.
The MapleExpat pages on this site
The page that stops MapleExpat reminder emails sends the token in its link to the MapleExpat service so that it can switch the emails off. It loads no analytics. MapleExpat has its own privacy policy, at versurasolutions.com/mapleexpat/privacy.
How long we keep it
We delete MapleExpat waitlist sign-up emails once the launch notice has gone out. We keep contact-form emails, including any attached QR code image, for up to 24 months after our last exchange with you, then delete them. Ask us to delete a specific message or thread sooner and we will, subject to anything we're legally required to keep.
Children
This website is made for adults — business contacts and prospective clients. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Your rights
You can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, and ask us to delete it. Email our Privacy Officer at jacob@versurasolutions.com and we will respond within 30 days. The personal information we hold ourselves is ordinary email correspondence, so that is usually a short conversation. Analytics data is held by Google, as described above.
Privacy law gives you these rights: in Alberta, the Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA); elsewhere in Canada, the federal Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA); and, if you're in Quebec, Quebec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (as modernized by Law 25) gives you additional rights. If you're located somewhere else that gives you additional rights under local law, we'll do our best to honour those too — just ask.
Changes to this policy
If this site changes in a way that affects any of the above, we will update this page and change the date at the top.
